Back to the source! In the ErlebnisSennerei Zillertal you will find the origin of numerous foodstuffs such as milk, cheese, honey and many more. The SchauBauernhof is a good example of the approximately 400 alpine pastures and farms where species-appropriate animal husbandry is the key to good food. In the SchauSennerei you can see how the pure products of the animals are further processed into cheese, yoghurt etc.
Traditional Zillertaler Beer Brewery
From hops to the finished Zillertal beer! Here you can immerse yourself in the entire process of brewing beer and experience the approximately 500-year-old Tyrolean beer culture at first hand – naturally with tasting at the end of the tour! In addition to beer, the shop also sells other local products and souvenirs.
Steam Train Zillertalbahn
Experience an unforgettable journey into the past in an almost 120-year-old steam train! The steam train is powered exclusively by coal and starts in Jenbach. After about 1.5 h ride through the picturesque Zillertal, it arrives at the station in Mayrhofen. From there it returns about one hour later.
